If you are unfamiliar with the process of downloading and installing software files from the internet, please read this paragraph. You click on a download link below and wait for your web browser to ask you what to do with the file. We always recommend saving to a directory/folder on your hard disk. Windows 10, 8 and 7 usually save to the 'Downloads' folder.
Once the file is downloaded, run it by double-clicking on it from Windows Explorer. If you choose to save this installation file to your Desktop, use it ONLY ONCE to install LMD. Once installation is complete, put the installation file into the recycle bin. The installation program will put an icon for LMD on the desktop and in the Start/All Programs/Lineage Manager for Dogs menu.
- Lineage Manager for Dogs (LMD) is a fully enabled trial version with a 30 day trial time limit. Databases created with the trial version are fully compatible with the 'unlocked' version.
- Pricing. You can purchase the full version of Lineage Manager for Dogs for only $69. Upgrades are $39. You may order the unlock code online from this page.
- Requires Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, XPsp3 (32 or 64 bit). We do not plan on supporting Apple Mac Computers however, you can use Parallels or Fusion to run it in a Windows environment on your Mac.

- Corrected problem importing from v1.x databases: the Color and Markings information was not being imported. How to Install Lineage Manager for Dogs
- Unzip and run lmd2xx.exe and follow the installation instructions. Pressing 'next' for the default installation options is best for most people.
- Once it is installed, you can delete the lmd2xx.exe installer file and run LMD from the desktop icon or from the Start/Programs/Lineage Manager for Dogs program group.
- If you are upgrading from v2.00, please install over the top of your old installation - there is no need to uninstall.
Installation Issues? Problems?
Downloaded zip file size is 7,519 KBytes or exactly 7,698,991 bytes if you right click on the zip file and select Properties and look at 'Size:'- If your download file is too small or too large, please delete it from your Downloads folder, then clear your web browser cache. Try downloading from the alternate site and check the filesize.
- If you get a strange error message while running the installer, first verify the file size is correct (check actual Size, not MB or KB - look at bytes), then try starting the installer with right click menu 'Run as administrator'.
